About Victoria Mather

VICTORIA MATHER prior to joining Vanity Fair in 2005, was the travel editor of Tatler. For 11 years she oversaw its annual travel guide, which included her list of the "101 best hotels in the world," and in 1995 she created the Tatler Travel Awards. She has worked for The Daily Telegraph since 1986, first as a film critic and now as the newspaper's most popular weekly columnist, with her "Social Stereotypes" sketch. She has published seven collections of her columns, four of them best-sellers. Mather continues to contribute to the London Evening Standard and serves as a commentator for NBC and CBS News.
