Manish Arora is one of the most widely recognised Indian designers with a dedicated following and significant critical acclaim from a host of influential industry insiders. Inducted into the ChambreSyndicale du Prêt à Porter des Couturiers in 2009, Arora was also invited by the French minister for culture to exhibit his work in the windows of the Palais Royal in Paris. Manish, who oversees the production of three in-house labels alongside an eyewear range, was appointed creative director of French fashion house PacoRabanne in early 2011. His rich and colorful designs have been worn by a bevy of international stars from Rihanna and Lady Gaga to M.I.A and Katy Perry. In 2012, Manish joined hands with India's biggest Women's Ethnic Wear Retail brand BIBA, to create a joint venture label "Indian by Manish Arora" . The collection brings his sense of design and craftsmanship to Indian wear. In 2014, the brand opened its first flagship store in Paris.
